Slow Jam Sundays: Karim So Luvstep
Posted by: Scott on September 2, 2012There’s another side to dubstep that doesn’t get enough play in my opinion, and it’s called luvstep. It’s bass heavy sexy melodies that slowly seduce you. It’s perfect for listening to on the last long weekend in summer, perhaps down by the beach and soaking up some sun.
Karim So has been putting out compilations of his Luvstep tunes on soundcloud for the last couple of years. He currently has his Luvstep 6 up and has 5 other releases that go up and down if you catch it at the right time. They all have a blend of future bass, seductive dubstep and a bit of glitch mixed in there to keep things interesting. Make sure to follow his soundcloud page to keep up with his newest tunes and perhaps he’ll have a new luvestep 7 release coming soon?
For now I hope you enjoy Karim’s seamless mixes and enjoy a side of dubstep that you may not have heard before.
