Slow Jam Sundays: Malichor
Posted by: Heather on May 27, 2012I didn’t have anything in particular prepared for Slow Jam Sunday this weekend and was prepared to spend at the very least an hour or so to find the perfect fit for my Sunday selection. So when I opened my direct messages on twitter this morning and had this gem shared with me by Malichor I was super stoked. Malichor is a producer from Las Vegas, this mix is for the Insomniac Discovery Project. They will be performing at the EDC in Las Vegas this coming June.
I didn’t even know it but this is exactly what I needed to start my Sunday off. The beginning of the set is perhaps faster than what you would expect for a slow jam but it transitions seamlessly into a delicious mix of celestial and bass. I am particularly fond of the 12:00 mark, beautiful. This is another for the Sunday soundtrack. So enjoy your Sunday wherever you are with this melodic mix by Malichor.
Don’t forget to check out his mixcloud and like his facebook page!
