Tipper To Get Open Heart Surgery and Needs Your Help!
Posted by: Dee on June 4, 2013
UPDATE: Tipper has been released from the ICU, and is expected to make a full recovery!
Dave Tipper has been a long time favorite of ours since 2005. Multiple times we’ve seen him live and each of those times has been an experience for the record books that we still talk about to this day. From performing 2 super special back to back nights in Calgary way way back, to ultimate chill vibes on the beach at Shambhala a few years ago, to an epic dancing frenzy of a night a year ago in Vancouver. Any of his album releases have been legendary and also on constant rotation in our homes since we first saw him in Calgary.
During all this time, Tipper has had to do hiatus’s from a regular touring schedule due to health concerns. Each time he has been greatly missed by all his fans and then highly welcomed back with even more praise. Recently, he’s had to do a hiatus again and now has annouced to the public he is getting open heart surgery in 17 hours from now.

“In 17 hours from now i have to undergo open heart surgery. (I am very scared.)
In an attempt to lessen the blow of medical costs from this major procedure, I am releasing an EP of ‘VIP’ remixes that I’ve been playing in my live sets over the last couple of years. My good friends at Addictech are hosting the release and are forgoing their percentage, so that 100% of the money from your purchase goes towards helping me out.
There is also a paypal donation address (openheartdave@gmail.com) if you feel like contributing more.
My intention is to bounce back from this stronger than ever, but regardless of what happens from here on out, i’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support over the years. It’s been a pleasure serving you all.
Cheers,
Dave.”

So, there you have it, if you’ve supported Dave like we have all these years we know you will help his cause and buy these amazing tracks and/or donate to him through paypal as-well. He deserves it.
or
Send him a donation through PAYPAL to openheartdave@gmail.com
We wish Dave Tipper a successful surgery and speedy recovery!!!
Can’t wait to experience your sounds again on the dance floor.
