Shambhala Music Festival is just around the corner and we got just a few more Village Sessions line up for you before the gates open! For this edition we strap our selves in for one of the crowd favourites: Slim Pickins!

Slim Pickins is the visionary behind Supreme Hustle Records (and Productions). For nearly a decade and a half he has been instrumental in elevating Calgary into the bass mecca it’s become. So when he brings the show to the beautiful Kootenays for the Shambhala Music Festival you know that he’s going to bring out the big guns.

The Village was packed with an excited crowd when he unleashed his special brand of genre defying bass! Blending laid back reggae sound with rolling waves of epic dubstep bass. If you haven’t made your way down to The Village for one of Slim Pickins’ sets you’re missing out. His unmistakable style will take you on a journey between genres and leave you asking at the end what the hell just happened? Turn up your speakers and get ready to get the party started early with this giant of Canadian Bass!
