The Village Sessions 2013: Dan Dakota Live at Shambhala 2013
Posted by: Alex on June 3, 2014There isn’t anything better than stumbling onto a set at The Village that just comes out of nowhere and kicks your party into high gear. Last year, that moment for me was Dan Dakota’s dance floor crushing set from Sunday evening. I’ve always been a huge proponent of Sunday night as one of the best nights for music, and walking down into The Village as he crushed track after track was electric!
At 20 years old, this drum and bass prodigy has been garnering a lot of attention for his flawless production work and masterful DJ sets. His contribution to last year’s Shambhala is no different. Dan Dakota brought to the decks an amazing mix of delightfully smooth liquid, to some of the most straight up massive dnb tracks.
This set is one of those mixes that has been in heavy rotation on my stereo, and we are sure that it’s going to be the same for all of you. So sit back, turn the knobs to 11 and enjoy as Dan Dakota brings you back to all that is great about The Village Stage.
All You Need is Bass and PK Sound are proud to present The Village Sessions: Dan Dakota!

Special thanks to PK Sound for bringing the bass and stage; Shambhala Music Festival for hosting the party; Head Effect Mobile Recording who recorded this set; The Village Stage volunteers for making it magical; and everyone who danced their asses off all weekend long.
