Slow Jam Sundays: Transparency Radio EP. 11
Posted by: Alex on October 21, 2012If your last night was anything like mine (which it probably was) you probably are looking for some nice mellow tunes to listen to while you make brunch for the Peruvian sheep herders you met at the waffle hut. Sure there is a bit of a language barrier, but boy do they know how to party. My Spanish is a bit rusty but I am pretty sure that when they keep saying “¿por qué no vamos a dejar?” it means “we want to listen to some drum and bass!”
So, as a gracious host and an aficionado of fine d’n’b this is a request I can certainly accommodate!
Transmitting all the way from Perth, Transparency Radio has been one of my favorite drum and bass podcasts over the last year. In just a few days they will be dropping their 1 year anniversary set! Considering we hadn’t featured them yet, we figured it would be a good time to turn you and our Peruvian guests on to the joys of this kick ass podcast! Their smooth blend of atmospheric and melodic drum and bass is a great way to spend a lazy sunday afternoon with some new friends.
Speaking of my new friends, I should see what they are doing. I could have sworn I heard them trying to climb out a window or something. Boy, what a bunch of jokers!
