Slow Jam Sundays: LoveFest Mini Mix by Mantis MD
Posted by: Scott on July 28, 2012I love the internetz. We’re in a time when so much music is being put out by many people. Sometimes though, you have to weed through those who just press buttons to find those hidden gems. When you do find a set that has smooth mixing and creative track selection, everything comes together and it’s like fireworks going off. I’m glad I stumbled across Mantis MD on my soundcloud adventures and I think you will be too.
Mantis MD’s LoveFest Mini Mix starts off with Mr Scruff’s Vibrate and smoothly goes into RD’s Charmed Life. Add in some Jurassic 5 Freedom early on and I’m instantly sold for my Slow Jam Sunday tune. The glitch works with the seamless transitions and layers that’s been put into this mix. At 11.47 super sharp shooter gets mixed in and out smoothly and Liquid Stranger has no stranger danger later on.
All in all, a fantastic mix in my opinion. Mantis hails from Sydney, Australia and all that sun down under grows some damn good glitched out beats. You can check out Mantis MD’s Facebook page
and send him some love on Soundcloud.
