Slow Jam Sundays: Bonobo
Posted by: Heather on July 1, 2012Ohayou from Japan! Two of us from AYNiB are still in the midst of the night that never ends in Tokyo. Before we embrace some well needed sleep we are going to enjoy our Slow Jam Sunday from abroad.
This weeks Slow Jam comes from a man who is no stranger to creating master melodies and smooth beats. Simon Green or as the EDM community knows him Bonobo hails from England and has been an accomplished musician from a very young age. This is Bonobo’s second mix for UK based Solid Steel radio show. The diversity of this mix is what I really enjoy. It is a great showcase of Bonobo’s capacity to incorporate world beats, atmospheric sounds and beautiful instrumental. I am a sucker for the sexy sax at the 18:00 min mark. All of us at AYNiB are super jazzed and looking forward to hearing him at What the Festival in just a couple weeks.
So whether you are out enjoying your Sunday, busy with work (I really hope not!), cocooned in your bed, or have yet to make friends with your pillow enjoy the next 58 minutes of your life with the luxurious and rich mix.
Don’t forget to check out Bonobo’s soundcloud, like him on facebook and follow him on twitter.
