All You Need is BASS

Shambhala 2015 Lineup of Headliners is Announced!

The heavy weights have been announced for Shambhala Music Festival 2015. This year, organizers have devised a balanced spectrum of genres and focused on the world’s best techno, minimalist bass-artists (with a lot, a lot of saxophone) and the new music gospel trifecta: dubstep and glitch and trap.

Big names, big sounds: Bonobo, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Mix Master Mike, DJ Harvey, Excision, Big Gigantic, Datsik, Justin Martin, Downlink, Camo & Krooked, Pretty Lights, Skrillex, Zomboy, Drumsound & Bassline Smith, Bakermat, DJ Zinc, GRiZ, Tipper, HeRobust, and many more…

Not-to-be-missed headliners offering unique, mind-blowing performances: Biome, Bird of Prey, Destructo, El Búho, Fort Knox Five, Space Jesus, Stickybuds, The Funk Hunters, and Thornato.

Watch out for: Possible turntable collaboration between DJ Jazzy Jeff, Mix Master Mike and Skratch Bastid; returning stage show aerialists and fire artists Lucent Dossier Experience; and the disco antics of legendary party animal DJ Harvey.

Sunrise beauty: Tipper’s finally returning to Shambhala….. he’s gotta do a special monday morning sunrise set again right??

For fun: If you think Shambhala is a cultural event that should be celebrated, email Google at and request they use Shambhala as the Google Doodle during the festival as it did for Burning Man, its inaugural doodle in 1998.
