Lucent Dossier Experience
May 8, 2012Last year’s Burning Man was filled with some pretty amazing sights – but without a doubt the most impressive, blow my brains straight out of my ears and onto the shoe of the guy standing next to me act had to be the Lucent Dossier Experience.
Lucent Dossier Experience is what happens when we allow passionate expression of individualistic art and performance to flow through a bohemian filter into a bass heavy arena of fantastical sights and sounds. It is a strange and magical burlesque circus freak show – the wild and sometimes twisted performances are summoned from dreams, in an ethereal display of the unbelievable.
The 30 minute teaser of a show they gave us last year wasn’t nearly enough to satisfy me. I was enthralled by the performance the entire time – I didn’t even want to blink in fear of missing something. It was magical and I never wanted it to end. Hell, I could have followed them around the playa for the entire week and still not had my fill. The mix of fire, burlesque, acrobatics, clowning and general awesomeness with a glitchy bass heavy soundtrack is completely and absolutely relevant to my interests.
