ill.Gates – I’m EEL
Posted by: Alex on October 24, 2012After his unbelievable performance at Shambhala there is no doubt in my mind that ill.Gates represents some of the best that bass music has to offer. His new track I’m EEL is his newest contribution to the ever evolving genre of glitch. Dubbing this new style Ransom, he is taking an astonishingly huge number of different samples and producing musical magic. He’s released his first track of this new subgenre today for free on his website and on Soundcloud and it’s killer!
To say that this track is sample heavy is a massive understatement. His ability to seamlessly stitch so many different samples together into one of the sickest tracks I’ve heard in a long time is wild. I guarantee that anyone who listens to this is going to wish they had a theme song as rad as I’m EEL! I know that when people hear this track on a huge system people are going to go nuts.
ill.Gates is the one who knocks!
