HYHT: Lost City JNGL (Noah D and No Thing)
Posted by: Fatrick on June 2, 2014After freshly releasing collaborative projects Feb of 2014 this duo is instantly top of my favourite list. With the high level of production and a slice of the old school rehashed into a new form, Lost City JNGL sounds are exciting on so many different levels. Bringing the broken beat scene full circle their style is reminiscent of the original jungle sounds coming out of the UK back in the early 90s when the bpm was about 120 and the jungle vibes gave birth to the plethora of jungle/dnb genres that exploded thereafter. With only a handful of releases so far there is no doubt they will be skillfully dropping tracks throughout the spring and summer bridging that 20 year gap that some old time partiers fell in love with way back when.
