HYHT: Somebody That I Used To Know (KDrew Remix)

All right kids, Papa is still feeling a bit rough from a weekend of massive old school jungle beats. So, for today’s HyHt we are going to mix up the bass with some indy rock. Today’s remix of Gotye and Kimbra’s Somebody That I Used to Know comes from New Jersey’s KDrew and it’s the kind of track you want to take home, introduce to your parents and make a nice little life with. What can I say I’m a sucker for Kimbra, that giant drop at 1:30 and super emo lyrics that would make even Thom Yorke think about going on Prozac.
All right, now that I’ve cleared out some of the cobwebs with that track I can get on with the rest of my day. I have this sneaking suspicion that I might need to find something a little later in the day to help with malaise, but for the time being it looks like I’m going to survive.
Also, don’t forget to check out KDrew’s facebook page!
