Around this time of year for the past 2 years we would be starting to plan our road trip to the epic 403DNBBQ, but for reasons outside of 403DNB’s control that BBQ fire had to be temporary put out .

However, there is still hope! To fill the DNB void of festival season 2015, the powers that be behind the 403DNB have come together to provide us junglist’s with Metropolis! This will officially be Calgary’s first ever urban drum and bass music festival. The event will take place on the 19th and 20th of June and will span 3 separate venues to showcase the best in international and local drum and bass talent as well as a broad array of styles.

We’re talking a Critical Music Tour with Enei, Kasra and Foreign Concept on the Friday night, a Ragga Jungle Rinse presented by Come Correct Saturday afternoon, and finishing it up with Aphrodite and Mampi Swift Saturday night! Of course, don’t forget about Calgary’s great DNB locals and MC’s sprinkled throughout the two days to sweeten the deal too.

Now, it’s time to get you all even more excited for the 403DNB Metropolis and have a fun contest! This one is simple! All you need to do is hit up our Facebook page, find the contest post pinned to the top of our feed and submit your best BASS FACE photo or video in the comments. Who ever gets the most likes on their photo wins themselves a golden ticket to Metropolis!
