Beastie Boys – Girls (Pigeon Hole Remix)
May 21, 2015Pigeon Hole is back at it with another banger of a release. This time they are blending together an infectious mix of trap and that classic Beastie Boys track, Girls. It’s nearly impossible to improve on the genius of Ad-Rock, MCA and Mike D, but Pigeon Hole has managed to distill all that is awesome about Girls and update it.
You can catch them all over the place this summer, but be sure to see them in fine form at Shambhala, hosting The Village’s Hip Hop Showcase. They’ll also be rocking deep in Vancouver Island’s pristine wilderness playing at Tall Tree music festival, and making their first appearance at another of our favourite festivals, Astral Harvest.
Check out their Soundcloud and Facebook for lots more info and music.
