BASSpod: 403DNBBQ Ragga Jungle Showcase with Logo and Proph
Posted by: K. Lea on June 4, 2014This edition of AYNIB’s BASSpod series is a showcase from the upcoming 403 DNBBQ festival. This two-day party will be a clinic of everything dnb – all styles, all the top notch talent Canada’s local scenes have to offer.
Saturday afternoon’s festivities center around a BBQ, a tailgate contest, and a showcase of ragga music. The Come Correct crew will be crushing out a set, as well as 403 DNB’s Jedi Cheek and Strange Manner. Toronto’s Marcus Visionary will be reppin’ the east with a dose of ragga jungle, headlining the day time party, and it will all be rounded out with DJ Cain with MC Four20 and Slim Pickins. The day is going to be packed with beats to wile out and get rowdy to, that’s a given. There’s something about ragga riddims and sunshine together, they go together like bass and treble.
403 DNB’s own DJ Logo and DJ Proph have put together a couple of mixes to get us stoked for what’s to come on Saturday afternoon. On Side A, DJ Logo crushes it out for our listening pleasure, while Proph, one of 403’s main three founders takes the helm on Side B. Crank the rowdy knob to ten and get stoked for the BBQ with some bass pod delivered ragga sounds!
If you still haven’t gotten your tickets for this event, they’re still available in stores or online. Single days passes are available for $60 online as well for those junglists that are only free for a day.
