AYNiB’s Shambhala Music Festival 2015 Schedule: Where We Think We’ll Be
Posted by: Dee on July 7, 2015
The Shambhala Music Festival 2015 schedule was finally released earlier this month. Moments after it went viral you almost could hear the sounds of pure joy and supreme frustration across the land. Now, if you love Shambhala as much as we do, you’ve been studying it harder than you ever did for a final exam. But, even after hours of staring at print outs, circling acts, crossing out others, listening to soundclouds, adding more circles and comparing with your friends, you can still never perfectly execute that ultimate plan of where to be. You’re bound to have a schedule conflict between stages and even if you think you got it figured out, the festival will happen and you’ll probably find yourself somewhere you never expected to be with no idea you just missed one of your favourite acts until it’s too late.
But, all things considered it’ll still be good to enter through the mill gates with a basic festival plan. Just keep in mind that your plan A could be thrown to the side and plan B to Z could become a dream experience instead.
Here is our Shambhala Music Festival 2015 Plan A of where we think we will be. We hope it inspires you to make your own plan or quite possibly inspired you to start switching gears to plan B.
First of all, let’s be honest about something, most of the team here at AYNiB aren’t early risers. So, if it’s late morning/early afternoon we’re probably still sleeping for as long as we can handle before melting. Then we like to jump into our hammocks and chill the afternoon away with our chosen family in the shade. We make no solid plans to catch a certain act until the early evening. (with one exception of The Rinse Out mentioned later).
NOTE: If there is one plan we never hope to fall apart, it’s making it through to Sunday evening with full energy! To help ensure this we keep our daytime activities very chill in the shade. A full active day in that Kootenay sun can really drain the life right out of you.
Wednesday, August 5th, 2015
NOTE: Early entry day at $80 per person
Our plan: Working away to help build you The Village Stage!
No stages are open on Wednesday and all access to them is blocked. Food vendors are however open. Take this time to set up your camp perfectly before the chaos happens and go to bed early! You got a ton of Shambhala to experience ahead of you!
